A Pointless War Between Ukraine and Russia
How can one man that doesn’t have any love for his people cause such devastation for a country?
This year 2022 I thought was going to be a year full of recovery, recuperating with loved ones and gathering together after a rough two years. The coronavirus has caused hundreds and thousands of people to lose their lives throughout the entire world, including the United States.
During February 24th, 2022, the entire world changed in an instance when Vladimir Putin invaded the country of Ukraine and cause massive destruction everywhere. What really made me emotional/furious was how Vladmir Putin has no disregard for human life and just wants to cause havoc on his neighbor country of Ukraine. Hundreds and thousands of husbands had to make the difficult decision to let their wives and little children/toddlers to travel to Poland for safe refuge, which has been the hardest thing to watch even on social media. I give a ton of credit for husbands who want to fight for their country and also for President Vladimir Zelensky. I’m following several people on Tiktok and gaining new updates on a weekly basis about any latest news about the war. I believe that I won’t be able to know what it’s like in Ukraine at this moment with rockets flying through the sky and buildings getting destroyed, including innocent people losing their lives. Families and little children have to abandon their home, say goodbye to their best friends, favorite teachers and places that they enjoy visiting with their loved ones.
Regarding the devastation of this useless war and destruction occurring throughout the country of Ukraine, I am just shocked that the price of gas and oil has skyrocketed everywhere. However, I just hope this war comes to a peaceful end someday, but I know that won’t happen overnight.
